Constructix App

Constructix frames construction management as a progression system: each site is treated as a level, and individual project stages become missions to complete. Workers are assigned tasks — from framing exterior walls to running electrical conduit — and earn XP based on speed and quality. That XP feeds into a crew-wide ranking visible to everyone on the team, with gold, silver, and bronze trophies for the top performers.

What the app tracks

• Task assignment and status across workers, with difficulty ratings (High, Medium) and XP rewards per task
• A crew XP bar and level indicator on the main dashboard, showing total accumulated experience
• Progress analytics broken down by site — including percentage completion and task status split across To Do, In Progress, and Done
• A site weather card with a workability index scored out of 100, pulling in temperature, wind, humidity, UV index, and precipitation
• Achievement badges and mini-challenges that teams can compete in alongside regular project work
• Push notifications for task updates, approaching deadlines, and project changes

The visual experience

The interface uses bright, cartoon-like 3D graphics — orange, blue, yellow, and green — with construction scenes that include cranes lifting modular building pieces, city skylines, and multiplier indicators styled like arcade scoreboards. It's the same language as any city-builder or idle construction game: building modules suspended mid-air, XP numbers floating over completed actions, leaderboard screens with ranked portraits. Anyone who has spent time with that genre will feel the visual grammar immediately — the orange crane cables, the chunky block architecture, the satisfying tick of a completed task.

Practical management layer

• Five-tab bottom navigation: Home, Objects, Workers, Reports, Settings
• Worker profiles listing role, specialization tier (Apprentice, Journeyman), level, and completed task count
• An AI Tips shortcut on the dashboard alongside Challenges, Rating, and Analytics
• History tracking and performance evaluation tools for reviewing how teams have performed over time

The gamification layer is genuinely engaging for teams, but the app's reliance on color alone to distinguish task statuses and progress bars — without alternative text labels or patterns — means it may be harder to read for users with color vision deficiencies.

Accessibility and platform notes

Constructix is available on both iOS and Android. The rich 3D scenes and color-coded data visualizations carry documented accessibility gaps: screen reader support for the construction imagery, WCAG-compliant contrast on orange-on-white text, and alternative indicators for the trophy ranking system are all areas flagged for improvement. Touch targets and zoom support are also identified as needing verification against platform minimums.
