One genuine limitation worth noting: several interactive states — selected tabs, the zodiac wheel, the avatar edit button — rely primarily on colour to signal activity, which can make the interface harder to read for colour-blind users. The drag-based lunar exploration is also flagged in the app's own documentation as potentially difficult without an alternative tap-based input.

The visual energy behind the name

The name Zeus Thunder Surge carries a charge that goes well beyond astrology branding. The app's promotional visuals feature a full Zeus deity character — silver-haired, gold-armoured, gripping a crackling electric-blue lightning bolt — set against Mount Olympus bathed in divine god-rays. That same electric-blue-and-gold palette, the flying gems, the 4×4 reel grids lit up with golden glow borders, and multiplier coins ranging from 5× to 25× all appear across the app's screenshot set, reflecting a Zeus-themed slot machine aesthetic that the visual identity openly draws from.
