VolcGold organizes your wardrobe across four main sections — Clothes, Outfits, Statistics, and Wishlist — accessible through a persistent bottom navigation bar. Each section is purpose-built, and the overall flow from adding an item to building a complete look is straightforward enough that new users won't need a tutorial.

Adding and Managing Your Clothes

When you add a new item, the form collects more detail than most wardrobe apps bother with. You can attach a photo from your camera or gallery, set a name, assign a gender tag (Male, Female, or Unisex), pick a category from a dropdown, select which seasons the item belongs to, and rate its current condition on a slider. There are also checkboxes for Needs washing, Needs repair, and Add to favorites, plus a toggle to include the item in recommendations. Once items are in, the main Clothes screen lets you filter by season — Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring — and by category, with a search bar for finding things by name. A segmented control switches between viewing all items and favorites only.

Outfits, Statistics, and the Wishlist

The Outfits tab lets you build and save complete looks by combining pieces from your catalog — you give the outfit a name, then add a top and a bottom (with the screen scrollable for additional garment slots). The Statistics screen shows total item count, how many are marked as favorites, how many have gone long unused, and two charts: a donut chart breaking down your wardrobe by category, and a line chart showing distribution by season. The Wishlist works as a separate form where you log items you want to buy — attaching a photo, a name, a price, a priority level, a budget tier (Economy, Standard, or Premium), and a category tag. It's a practical way to avoid accidental duplicate purchases.

One Honest Note

The statistics charts — particularly the season line chart — can look sparse and difficult to read when your catalog is small. The Long unused label in the stats summary is also not explained anywhere visible in the interface, which may leave some users unsure what threshold triggers it. These are minor friction points, but worth knowing before you expect rich data insights out of the gate.

The Name, and What It Suggests

VolcGold is a curious name for a wardrobe organizer — one that carries the visual energy of something far more explosive. The app's icon leans hard into that identity: a cartoon volcano mid-eruption, surrounded by scattered gold coins against a deep purple-to-orange gradient, with a bold TOP banner in the corner. It's the kind of icon that reads like a treasure hunt, all heat and momentum. Inside, the app shifts to a composed dark navy calm — methodical where the icon is dramatic. There's something almost satisfying about that contrast: the fiery promise on the outside, the orderly collection waiting within.

VolcGold presents itself with the visual intensity of a high-stakes game but functions as a quiet, systematic tool — the gap between its branding and its behavior is wider than most apps attempt.
