VCoinX is a mobile app that sits at an unusual crossroads: part recipe collection, part brain-training game. It's aimed at anyone who wants to fill a spare ten minutes with something a little more useful than scrolling — whether that means mixing up a new fruit drink or sharpening focus through a card-matching challenge. The two sides of the app are self-contained yet share the same colorful, fruit-forward visual identity.
VCoinX bundles two distinct activities into a single download. On one side is a library of 30 fruit cocktail recipes, organized into categories — Tropical, Berry, Citrus, and Refreshing — that you can filter with a single tap. Drinks like Strawberry Daiquiri, Mango Tango, Kiwi Mint Cooler, and Tropical Sunrise each come with an ingredient count and a short descriptor, giving you a quick read before you commit. The app also includes a Create Cocktail screen where you name your own blend, add a photo from your camera or gallery, write a tagline, and select from ingredients including apple, banana, strawberry, mango, orange, grape, kiwi, and lemon.
The second module is a card-flipping memory game called Memory Match. The rules are straightforward: flip two cards, and if they match they stay face-up; if they don't, they flip back down and you have to remember where each one was. Three difficulty tiers — Easy (6 pairs, 12 cards), Normal (8 pairs, 16 cards), and Hard (10 pairs, 20 cards) — let you scale the challenge. The game tracks games played and perfect runs, so there's a mild incentive to keep improving.
The app loads against a volcanic landscape backdrop — a dark blue starry sky above glowing lava flows and rocky peaks — which gives VCoinX a warmer, more dramatic feel than a typical pastel recipe app. That same fiery energy runs through the orange-outlined cocktail glass on the loading screen and the gradient recipe cards in the browser. If you've spent time with slot games that lean into explosive volcanic scenery — molten orange spilling across a night-blue sky, sparkling particles, that sense of something about to erupt — VCoinX's visual palette will feel immediately familiar, even though the app has nothing to do with gambling. Here the lava backdrop is purely decorative, a stage set for fruit and flashcards.
The combination of two very different tools under one roof is the app's most notable friction point. Navigating between cocktail creation and a memory game requires a mental gear-shift, and the connection between the two features is largely cosmetic rather than functional. The interface is also visually busy — multiple gradients, layered backgrounds, and animated elements — which may overwhelm some users, particularly those sensitive to complex visual environments. There are no apparent motion-reduction settings, and accessibility documentation notes that the layered backgrounds could interfere with screen-reader clarity.
VCoinX is more interesting as a concept than a utility — two genuinely usable features that never quite explain why they live together, wrapped in a look that's more volcanic theme park than kitchen counter.

Oh wow, also ich hab die App jetzt auch runtergeladen weil der Post hier mich so neugierig gemacht hat, und, irgendwie, die Rezepte sind echt nett aber ich frage mich ob man die auch irgendwie speichern oder als Favorit markieren kann? Ich hab das nämlich nicht gefunden und irgendwie will ich nicht jedes Mal durch alle 30 Rezepte scrollen wenn ich nur meinen Lieblingscocktail suche, also gibt es da eine Funktion die ich übersehen hab? Und das Memory-Spiel — ist das auch so gemeint dass man es ohne Internetverbindung spielen kann oder braucht man dafür WLAN? :)
Ich frage mich ehrlich: Was bringt mir eine App, die zwei ziemlich unverbundene Dinge kombiniert — Cocktailrezepte und ein Kartenspiel? Ist das wirklich ein Mehrwert, oder fühlt es sich einfach wie zwei halbfertige Apps in einer an? Die Rezeptauswahl mit 30 Einträgen ist ein Anfang, aber im Vergleich zu reinen Rezept-Apps wirkt das mager. Das Memory-Spiel macht seinen Job, keine Frage — aber rechtfertigt das die Kombination? Ich nutze die App jetzt seit einer Woche und bin noch nicht überzeugt, dass dieses Konzept langfristig trägt.

Che bella recensione, marta_curiosa, e condivido moltissimo quello che hai scritto, perché anch'io ho scoperto VCoinX quasi per caso cercando idee per cocktail analcolici da preparare per un compleanno in famiglia, e mi sono ritrovata ad usarla ogni giorno con un piacere davvero inaspettato! La varietà delle ricette è assolutamente adorabile, mi ha ispirata in modi che non avrei immaginato — ho preparato un Tropical Sunrise per i miei nipoti e il risultato è stato davvero emozionante, tutti entusiasti e felici. Il gioco della memoria poi è una cosa che trovo davvero preziosa, perché allena la mente in modo giocoso e leggero, senza quella pressione che a volte si sente in certi giochi più competitivi, e io che lavoro molto al computer sento il bisogno di piccole pause mentali che siano anche utili. L'unica cosa che mi lascia un po' di desiderio è proprio quello che dici tu — la progressione nel gioco potrebbe essere più ricca, magari con qualche sfida settimanale o con nuovi set di carte a tema frutta che si colleghino anche alle ricette, sarebbe davvero un tocco geniale! Ma nel complesso questa app mi ha conquistata, è genuina, creativa e fa esattamente quello che promette. Un saluto a tutti voi che cercate qualcosa di semplice e bello allo stesso tempo!
Ho installato VCoinX sulla versione 1.0 disponibile a maggio 2026 e il quadro complessivo è meno roseo di quanto emerge qui sopra. Il gioco della memoria ha tre livelli di difficoltà — facile, normale, difficile — che corrispondono rispettivamente a 12, 16 e 20 carte. Tre livelli. In un'app scaricata nel 2026. Dov'è la progressione reale, un sistema di punteggio che salvi i record, una qualsiasi forma di sblocco? Le statistiche mostrano due soli valori: partite giocate e partite perfette. È davvero sufficiente per parlare di 'allenamento della memoria'? Sulla parte ricette: trenta ricette precaricate, nessuna sincronizzazione cloud per quelle create dall'utente, nessuna funzione social. Il concept è carino, lo ammetto, ma l'esecuzione sembra ferma a una versione alpha ben confezionata graficamente. Potrebbe diventare qualcosa di interessante con aggiornamenti sostanziali.
Beh, GiorgioBT, capisco il punto ma forse stai cercando qualcosa che questa app non vuole essere 😅 È gratis, no? Per un'app free con ricette e un gioco casual mi sembra già un buon deal. Certo, trenta ricette non sono tantissime, ma se le usi davvero tutte hai già imparato un bel po' di cose. Io l'ho usata principalmente per le ricette e ne ho trovate almeno cinque o sei che proverò sicuramente. Il gioco lo uso ogni tanto per passare il tempo, non mi aspettavo chissà cosa.
In pratica GiorgioBT tocca un punto concreto che vale la pena sviluppare. Trenta ricette fisse sono un numero gestibile se il contenuto è curato, ma senza aggiornamenti periodici l'app esaurisce il suo valore in poche settimane. Concretamente, il gioco della memoria offre zero incentivo a tornare dopo aver completato i tre livelli: nessun record storico dettagliato, nessuna variazione nei contenuti delle carte. Per un'app gratuita il rapporto qualità-contenuto € è accettabile nell'immediato, ma la longevità è il vero punto debole. Verdict: promettente come idea, ancora troppo essenziale per diventare un'app di riferimento.
Ciao GiorgioBT! Hai ragione su alcune cose, ma forse ti aspettavi qualcosa di più complesso... Io la vedo come un'app leggera, da usare cinque minuti mentre aspetti l'autobus o mentre pensi a cosa preparare per gli ospiti. Non penso fosse pensata come un sistema di training intensivo, no? Detto questo, concordo che un salvataggio dei record personali nel gioco sarebbe una miglioria molto semplice da implementare e renderebbe tutto più soddisfacente.
