Spring Hatch is a mobile pattern-matching game that puts your eyes and reflexes to the test through a grid of colorful eggs. It runs in short, self-contained rounds that fit naturally into a spare minute or a longer session. Two distinct game modes, a combo multiplier system, and nine achievements give players enough variety to keep coming back. The visual style leans into a fantasy spring theme — dark cracked stone, glowing particles, floating feathers, and a palette of deep purples, magentas, and gold.

Inside the Game

How It Plays

Spring Hatch sets a single, clear task on every turn: a target egg appears at the top of the screen showing a specific color and symbol, and you must tap the one matching egg on the board before the timer expires. The catch is that the board fills with near-lookalikes — eggs sharing a color but carrying the wrong symbol, or the right symbol on the wrong color. Speed matters, but a hasty tap costs you.

Two Modes, One Pressure

The game offers Classic and Time Attack modes. In Classic, you have three mistakes per run and each target egg carries its own individual countdown. In Time Attack, a shared 60-second clock governs the whole session, and every wrong tap deducts one second from it. Best scores are stored separately for each mode, so progress in one has no effect on the other.

Combo System and Level Progression

Correct matches build a combo chain. Reach 3 in a row for a x2 multiplier, 6 for x3, and 10 for x4. Every 10 correct taps advances your level, which simultaneously enlarges the board and shortens the reaction window. The escalation is mechanical and consistent — there are no random difficulty spikes, just a steady tightening of the rules you already know.

A Look Worth Noticing

The visual atmosphere is built around a dark, cracked-stone background lit by purple and pink lighting effects, with white feathers and glowing particles drifting across the screen. Eggs come in multiple colors — red, yellow, green, purple, blue — each carrying one of several symbols: hearts, stars, crescents, lightning bolts, and teardrops. That combination of color and symbol is precisely what drives the matching challenge, and it also gives the game a visual richness that goes beyond a plain color-sort puzzle.

The settings screen offers haptic feedback and score resets, but little else — players looking for timing adjustments, audio cues, or accessibility options like reduced motion will find the configuration side of the app quite bare.

Achievements and Replayability

Nine achievements track milestones across both modes, including:

  • Spring Eye — make 10 correct taps lifetime
  • Blossom Streak — reach a x3 combo in a single run
  • Not a Second Lost — complete Time Attack without any time penalty
  • Seven Sunrises — open the game 7 days in a row
  • Garden Regular — play 30 games total

Progress bars on select achievements let you track where you stand between sessions. The end-game screen surfaces your score, peak combo, level reached, and whether you set a new personal best — all in a focused modal that keeps the next action one tap away.

How the Game Works

What is the difference between Classic and Time Attack modes?
In Classic mode, you have 3 mistakes allowed and each target egg comes with its own individual timer. In Time Attack, you get 60 seconds total for the entire session, and every wrong tap deducts 1 second from your remaining time.
How do combo multipliers work in Spring Hatch?
Every correct tap in a row builds your combo. Reaching 3 correct matches in a row activates a x2 multiplier, 6 in a row gives x3, and 10 in a row gives x4, increasing the points you earn with each successful match.
Does the game get harder the longer you play?
Yes — every 10 correct taps raises your level, which makes the board larger and gives you less time to react to each new target egg. The challenge grows continuously throughout a single run.
Are my best scores saved between sessions?
Yes, the game saves your best score separately for each mode — Classic and Time Attack — so you can track your personal records and aim to improve them over time.
What achievements are there and how many can I unlock?
There are 9 achievements in total, covering goals across both modes, such as making 10 correct lifetime taps, reaching a x3 combo multiplier, scoring 150 points in Time Attack, finishing Time Attack without any time penalty, and opening the game 7 days in a row. Progress toward each achievement is tracked individually.
