RoadSpace Decision App

RoadSpace Decision covers the practical side of interior design without stripping out the creative elements. Projects are structured workspaces where users build color palettes, categorize materials, attach documents, and track budgets alongside purchase histories. The 2D planning tools let you map out a space before committing to a layout, and the project timeline feature keeps milestones visible from concept through final finishing touches.

What the workspace includes

• Material cataloguing — items are organized by type, including wallpaper, paint, tile, furniture, textile, lighting, flooring, and decor, each with optional manufacturer and price fields
• Budget and purchase tracking — items log quantity, price, and category so spending stays visible across the whole project
• Document storage — contracts, invoices, plans, photos, and specifications can be uploaded as PDF, image, or text files and organized by category
• Design tips section — an in-app tips library covers principles like the 60-30-10 color rule, natural light prioritization, focal point placement, and furniture scale
• Personalized design recommendations — the app surfaces guidance tailored to the active project

Visual design and navigation

The app uses a dark background with cyan, purple, yellow, and orange as primary accent colors. Bottom navigation covers Home, Projects, and Materials at minimum, with tab-level navigation inside sections for Tips, Ideas, and FAQ. The onboarding flow spans four screens and opens with a large cyan house icon on a star-scattered dark blue background — a considered first impression that sets the app's tone clearly.

A road with higher stakes

The app's visual language — a purple road stretching into the frame, glowing multiplier buttons on either side, golden coins catching the light — comes straight from Chicken Road 2, a game embedded within the same interface. That tension between a fast-reflex betting game and a methodical design planner is the app's most discussed trait. The two sections share a color palette and a dark aesthetic, but their purposes pull in opposite directions.

The dual-app structure is the single most disorienting aspect of RoadSpace Decision. Mixing a gambling game with a home planning tool creates genuine cognitive friction — the navigation patterns, interaction speeds, and user intentions are fundamentally mismatched within a single install.

Where friction appears

Beyond the structural mismatch, the interface has some specific rough edges. Selection states in category grids rely on color alone, with no secondary indicator for users who may not distinguish between active and inactive states. The quantity stepper controls and some gaming-side touch targets are noted as small, and the multiple levels of tab navigation can feel layered when moving through forms with many fields.
