Knowlaxy is an educational app that maps knowledge as an interactive graph, letting you move between ideas the way thoughts actually connect — not in straight lines. It's built for curious learners who want to understand how subjects relate rather than check off a list. The interface runs entirely offline, storing everything locally on your device. Five navigation sections — Home, Graph, Stats, Profile, and Settings — keep the experience organized without getting in the way.

Inside the App

How Knowlaxy Works

Most learning apps hand you a syllabus and a progress bar. Knowlaxy takes a different approach: knowledge is represented as a visual graph of nodes, where tapping any topic opens three distinct layers — the term itself, its context, and its relationships to other concepts. You choose where to go next. There's no prescribed sequence, just open-ended exploration across subjects including Biology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Space.

How the graph works

  • The Graph tab shows a circular node network on a blue background, with color-coded categories and connecting lines between related topics.
  • Topics span areas like DNA, Calculus, Neural Networks, Black Holes, Fibonacci Sequence, Photosynthesis, and more.
  • Each node tracks your visit count, so you can see at a glance which areas you've explored and which remain untouched.
  • A rule-based adaptive system adjusts complexity based on your progress — no manual difficulty settings needed.

Tracking and profile

The Stats screen logs sessions, total score, total errors, and nodes unlocked. A Category Breakdown section shows per-subject scores, and a Mastery Map on the Profile screen displays your coverage across subcategories like CPU Architecture, Evolution, Graph Theory, and Robotics. Your username, badge, and cumulative score are visible at a glance.

A note on usability

The graph view relies heavily on color coding to distinguish categories, and node labels can run small on the screen. Users who depend on high contrast or larger text may find some parts of the interface a challenge — something worth knowing before diving in.

Knowlaxy feels less like a study tool and more like a map you draw yourself — every session adds another line between places you've been.

Privacy and offline design

  • All data is stored locally in SQLite + JSON format — no cloud sync, no account required.
  • Network access, camera, microphone, and location are all listed as Not Used in the Settings privacy panel.
  • Sound effects are toggleable; the app makes its permission posture explicitly visible in the Settings screen.
  • A Knowledge Constructor tool is accessible from Settings, offering an additional layer beyond passive exploration.

Explore Knowlaxy Features

How does the knowledge graph work in Knowlaxy?
Knowlaxy represents knowledge as an interactive graph where each node is a concept you can tap to explore. Every node reveals three layers — term, context, and relationships — so you can understand not just what something is, but how it connects to other topics. You navigate freely between nodes rather than following a fixed, linear path.
What subject categories are available to explore?
The app includes at least four subject categories: Biology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Space. Within each category there are multiple specific topics — for example, Biology covers DNA, Evolution, Cell Biology, and Photosynthesis, while Mathematics includes Calculus, Graph Theory, Probability, and the Fibonacci Sequence.
Can I use Knowlaxy without an internet connection?
Yes, Knowlaxy uses a fully offline architecture, so it works without any internet connection. All data is stored locally on your device in SQLite and JSON format, and the app's Settings screen confirms that Network Access is not used.
How does Knowlaxy track my learning progress?
The Statistics tab displays your total score, number of sessions, total errors, and how many nodes you have unlocked. Your Profile screen features a Mastery Map showing your progress across all topic categories, and each node in the graph displays a progress indicator showing how many times you have visited it.
Does the app adjust its difficulty based on how I perform?
Yes, Knowlaxy includes a rule-based adaptive system that automatically adjusts the complexity of content to match the individual user. This means the app becomes more or less challenging depending on your performance as you explore the knowledge graph.
