The Greek mythology theme is genuinely charming. Zeus as a chibi jumper character is a fun visual choice, and the four cloud platform types — normal, disappearing, boosting, and dangerous — give the gameplay just enough variety to keep you engaged past the first five minutes. The boosting clouds in particular add a satisfying burst of momentum. That said, the core loop is familiar to the point of feeling derivative. If you've played Doodle Jump or anything in that lineage, you know exactly what you're getting.
Where it gets more interesting, at least on paper, is the coin and skin shop. There are four Zeus skins at escalating costs, and unlocking them requires grinding coins through gameplay. The real question is whether that grind feels rewarding or just tedious. For me it tipped toward tedious fairly quickly — the coin drop rate from normal play is low enough that the 1000-coin Golden Zeus skin feels more like a chore than a milestone. Whether that bothers you probably depends on how much you enjoy the base jumping loop on its own terms.
The backgrounds are a nice touch, mythology-inspired and visually distinct, though I'd argue they're more of a cosmetic bonus than a meaningful reason to keep playing. Controls are simple and responsive, which matters a lot in a precision-timing game like this.
My conditional conclusion: if you want a breezy, low-commitment mobile game with a pleasant aesthetic, Olympus Boom delivers that reasonably well. If you're hoping for depth, progression that feels earned, or any reason to return after you've seen all the skins, the game doesn't quite get there.
