Chicken Strike Challenge is a casual action shooting game set on a top-down isometric crossroads where split-second decisions separate a clean run from a wasted life. The game is structured around multiple challenges, each divided into eight waves, with a kill target you must hit before advancing. It's built for anyone who enjoys arcade-style skill games — quick to pick up, gradually harder to master.

In-Game Screens

What's in the Game

At its core, Chicken Strike Challenge is a target-discrimination game: your armed character patrols a four-way intersection and must shoot roosters with dark or colorful feathers while leaving white hens completely alone. Hitting the wrong bird costs a life, and you only get three. The pressure of choosing correctly — fast — is what drives the tension in every wave.

How the challenge is structured

Each challenge contains eight waves, and each wave pushes the kill count higher. Early on you're chasing a target of 25; by the time you reach later challenges, that number climbs to 45 and beyond. Progress is tracked at the bottom of the screen through a real-time counter, and your score, wave number, and current challenge are all visible in the top-right HUD at a glance. Later challenges also introduce a special large chicken — wings dramatically spread, far bigger than the standard enemies — that appears to function as a boss-type encounter.

Visuals and feedback

The art style is bright and cartoon-forward: vivid green grass, sandy beige paths, rounded topiary trees in every corner, and a color palette built around orange, tan, and white. When a valid kill lands, a colorful feather burst — red, purple, green, yellow — radiates from the center of the intersection. It's satisfying visual feedback that keeps the pacing energetic. The main menu features an illustrated farm backdrop with a panicked yellow cartoon chicken wearing a blue cap, which sets the game's tone cleanly before you ever tap Play.

Where it could be sharper

The target progress bar consistently displays "Traget" instead of "Target" — a spelling error baked into the UI that screen readers will mispronounce and that undermines an otherwise polished presentation. Icon-only buttons (home, restart, sound toggle) also lack text labels, which creates friction for anyone relying on accessibility tools.

Controls and interaction

  • Tap-based shooting — no complex gestures required for core gameplay
  • Player character moves along the crossroads paths to track enemies
  • A kill/avoid legend stays visible on the right side of the screen throughout each wave
  • Home and restart buttons are reachable from within any active level
  • Sound can be toggled directly from the main menu

The difficulty scales steadily across challenges, and the lives system — three chances per run, with each lost life visually replaced by a red X in the icon row — keeps each session feeling consequential without being punishing from the start.

How to Play

What is the goal of Chicken Strike Challenge?
Your goal is to control a character on a top-down crossroads and shoot specific roosters to reach a required kill target while avoiding white hens. Each challenge is split into 8 waves, and you must hit the target count shown in the progress bar at the bottom of the screen to advance.
How do I know which chickens to shoot and which to leave alone?
A legend on the right side of the gameplay screen labels two categories: 'Kill' for darker, colorful-feathered roosters (marked with a green checkmark) and 'Avoid' for white hens (marked with a red X). Shooting a white hen you were supposed to avoid will cost you a life.
How does the lives system work?
You start each challenge with 3 lives, displayed as chicken icons on the left side of the screen. Each mistake — such as shooting a hen you should have avoided — removes one life, shown as a red X replacing a chicken icon. Losing all 3 lives ends your run.
How is the difficulty structured across the game?
The game progresses through multiple numbered challenges, and each challenge contains 8 waves. The kill target required to complete a challenge grows larger as you advance, and later challenges introduce more chickens on the paths, demanding quicker reactions and sharper precision.
What is the large white chicken with spread wings that appears in higher challenges?
In later challenges, an oversized white chicken with dramatically fanned-out wings appears at the center of the intersection, standing out clearly from regular enemies due to its size and imposing silhouette. It appears to function as a special or boss-type enemy distinct from the standard roosters and hens.
