been using tower wildrush for maybe two weeks now and... honestly it's kind of won me over in a quiet way? like i didn't expect much going in — another habit tracker, whatever — but there's something about the cairn mechanic that just... clicks differently than the usual streak apps.

the idea that a missed day makes your tower lean instead of resetting it is genuinely clever. i've abandoned so many habit apps the moment i broke a streak because it felt pointless to continue... but here? the lean is almost like a little nudge rather than a punishment. you look at that slightly tilted stack of stones and you think, okay, let me straighten this out. it reframes the whole thing in a way that actually kept me coming back.

the ui is really clean too — the dark teal cards, the anime-style city background... it's cozy without being overwhelming. each cairn has its own little tower visualization and watching it grow stone by stone is surprisingly satisfying. i have like five or six cairns running right now and checking in on all of them has become a small daily ritual.

if i had to nitpick... the stats panel at the bottom of the detail screen could use a tiny bit more contrast, the teal numbers on the dark teal background are a little hard to read in low light. and i wish there was some kind of longer-term history view beyond the calendar icon — like a graph of how your lean has changed over time or something.

but those are small things really. for a free habit tracker with no annoying monetization or pushy notifications... it does exactly what it promises. one day, one brick. or one stone i guess.
