Tower WildRush is a cumulative habit tracker for iOS and Android, built around a single reassuring idea: a missed day tilts your tower, it never tears it down. The app is aimed at anyone who has quit a habit streak in frustration and wants a gentler way to stay consistent. Inside you'll find a clean, anime-styled interface, a handful of settings, and a visual mechanic that turns daily effort into something you can literally watch grow.
Inside the App
How It Works
Each habit you create in Tower WildRush is called a cairn — a stack of stones, one added per day you follow through. The main screen, titled My Cairns, shows every habit as a scrollable card displaying the cairn's name, its current height (total stones placed), and its active streak. Tap any card to open the detail view, where a 3D-rendered stone tower rises between anime-style city buildings against a warm golden sky. A full-width button at the bottom lets you place today's stone; once placed, it switches to a gold-checkmark confirmation so you always know where you stand.
The Lean Mechanic
The detail view tracks three numbers: stones (total days completed), streak (consecutive days), and lean (degrees of tilt). Miss a day and your tower doesn't reset — it leans by a measurable angle instead. One sample cairn in the app shows 19 stones and a streak of 4, with a lean of 8.5 degrees: visible, honest, but far from catastrophic. The tower remains yours to keep building.
Interface and Settings
- A gear icon on the main screen opens Settings, which contains a sound toggle for stone-placement effects and a clearly marked destructive option — Delete all cairns — flagged in red with a bin icon for safety.
- Each cairn's detail view offers a calendar icon for reviewing completion history and a menu icon for additional options.
- The visual theme throughout is a hand-illustrated anime cityscape: golden-yellow sky, fluffy white clouds, and colourful apartment buildings that frame your growing towers.
One Honest Criticism
The stat numbers in the detail view — stones, streak, lean — are rendered in teal on a dark teal background. The contrast between those values and their card may not meet accessibility guidelines, which is worth noting for users who rely on high-contrast displays.
Tower WildRush is less interested in punishing lapses than in making the cumulative weight of small efforts visible. The lean mechanic is the app's most distinctive idea: it lets imperfection exist without erasing what came before it.
A Familiar Warmth
The promotional artwork that accompanies the app features bold multiplier badges — 3x, 5x, 8x, 12x — rendered in dimensional style against that same golden-orange glow, alongside gold coins, rope cranes hoisting cartoon houses, and construction-themed characters. The vocabulary of rewards, stacking, and build-up is one the app shares with casino-style games that lean on the same satisfying loop: something accumulates, something rises, and each addition feels a little more significant than the last.

been using tower wildrush for maybe two weeks now and... honestly it's kind of won me over in a quiet way? like i didn't expect much going in — another habit tracker, whatever — but there's something about the cairn mechanic that just... clicks differently than the usual streak apps. …
