okay so party balloo kind of snuck up on me? i downloaded it just to figure out how many balloons i needed for my niece's birthday and somehow ended up spending way more time in it than i expected...
the balloon calculator is genuinely useful — you put in your balloon sizes and it tells you how much helium you'll need. like, actual liters. i never thought i'd care about that but standing in a party store guessing is somehow worse, tbh. and the supplies screen where it tracks your helium cylinders and shows you the coverage percentage? oddly satisfying to see that green bar hit 100%.
the dashboard is pretty clean — the purple and blue gradient cards look nice, the layout makes sense, nothing feels buried. the little countdown to the event date is a cute touch... i keep checking it even when i already know the number.
where it loses me a bit is the tasks section. it's there, you can add tasks and check them off, but it feels a little bare compared to the balloon stuff. like the balloon side of the app clearly got more love... the task list just kind of sits there waiting to be more useful.
also the pagination dots in the tips section are tiny. really tiny. i kept missing them on the first swipe. small thing but it adds up when you're trying to quickly skim through advice.
