Lucky Triple App

Construction moves fast, and the details pile up just as quickly — missed expenses, forgotten notes, phases that blur into each other. Lucky Triple is built around the idea that all of this information belongs in one place, accessible at a glance, without the stress of juggling separate spreadsheets or notebooks.

What the App Covers

• Project dashboard: A central screen tracks overall progress as a percentage, shows total days, tasks completed across all phases, the current phase (structured across up to seven phases, starting with Planning), and a live budget status indicator.
• Estimate tab: Set a planned budget, then log actual or planned expenses by category — Materials, Labor, Equipment, and more. Spent and remaining amounts update in real time, with a progress bar showing what percentage of the budget has been used.
• Materials calculator: Select a material type (Paint, Primer, Tiles, Laminate, and others), enter area in square meters and number of coats, toggle waste inclusion with a configurable waste percentage, and hit Calculate to get a quantity figure. A shopping list section sits below the calculator.
• Inspection tab: Attach site photos from camera or gallery, then log inspection notes describing issues, assign a severity level (Low, Medium, or High), and categorize defects by type — Crack, Moisture, Uneven surface, and others.
• Assistant tab: A fifth section is available in the navigation bar, though its functionality is not detailed in the current version shown.

Design and Usability

The interface uses a clean blue-and-white scheme with white cards on a light blue-gray background. Navigation runs through a fixed five-tab bar at the bottom. Interactive elements — pill-shaped selector buttons, full-width action buttons, and rounded input fields — follow a consistent visual language throughout. One genuine limitation worth noting: color-coded status indicators rely on green and red simultaneously, which can be difficult to distinguish for users with red-green color blindness. The app would benefit from text labels accompanying all color-only state differences.

A Different Kind of Triple

The name Lucky Triple calls to mind something altogether more electric — a Vegas-style fruit machine, reels spinning behind a gold-bordered frame, marquee lights blinking, the whole crimson-and-gold spectacle of a classic one-armed bandit locking in three matching sevens on the center line. That image — three identical symbols snapping into place, everything clicking at once — is actually a decent metaphor for what a well-run construction project feels like when the phases align: budget on track, tasks ticked off, progress bar inching forward. Lucky Triple the app is chasing that same satisfying click, just with bricks instead of fruit symbols.

Lucky Triple packs a lot of genuine utility into five tabs. The real question is whether the phase structure, materials calculator, and inspection logger prove practical enough on an actual job site — or whether they work better as a planning tool used away from the dust and noise.
