Jungloria is a hand-painted interactive storybook for mobile, built around six animal characters who each carry their own novella through a living, breathing jungle. It is the kind of app that asks nothing of you except your attention — no account, no internet, no interruptions. Whether you are a patient reader or someone who simply wants to disappear into a beautifully crafted world for a while, this is a place worth visiting.
Screens & Scenes
Inside the Jungle
Six original novellas sit at the heart of Jungloria, each following a different animal through a distinct corner of the jungle. Tala the tigress searches for a vanished river. Mira the spider monkey pieces together a forgotten canopy song. Nox the jaguar runs through a storm filled with watching eyes. Bayu crosses ancient elephant trails, Kael the scarlet macaw rides the wind, and Rina the green anaconda drifts through quiet swamp waters. Every story unfolds across ten short passages that weave narration and dialogue into something that reads more like a novella than a game.
Choices, Quizzes, and What You Collect
Each novella contains two quizzes and ends with a final choice that steers you toward one of two possible endings — twelve endings in total across all six stories. Correct quiz answers gradually fill a Field Journal with small finds from the jungle, and nine achievements mark your progress through the wild. Once every official story has been read, a Create Your Story mode opens: you select a hero, a mood, a time of day, and a theme, and the app draws from a library of thirty hand-written scenario variations, revealing your new tale paragraph by paragraph.
How It Looks and Feels
The visual language is consistent and considered throughout. Parchment polaroids taped at the corners, golden hour light filtering through canopy leaves, and deep emerald and amber tones give the app the texture of something made slowly and deliberately. The overall atmosphere leans into a mystical nighttime jungle feel — electric blue lighting, glowing animal eyes, vintage lanterns with warm yellow glow, and golden paw prints scattered across backgrounds. It is atmospheric in a way that rewards unhurried reading. One honest note: the heavy reliance on a blue colour scheme across the interface may present some difficulty for users with certain colour vision deficiencies, and locked chapters are distinguished primarily through visual dimming rather than additional indicators.
A Quiet Game Inside a Loud Tradition
The screenshots reveal that Jungloria also includes a slot machine mode — five reels dressed in the same jungle palette, with fruit symbols rendered in the same vivid amber and emerald tones that run through the storybook screens. The electric blue lightning that crackles behind the reels is the same light that illuminates Tala's eyes in the narrative chapters. It is an unusual pairing, but both halves of the app share the same visual grammar: dense tropical foliage in silhouette, scattered jungle fruits, and that sense of something watchful in the dark.

Jungloria'yı birkaç gündür okuyorum ve inan bana böyle bir uygulama beklemiyordum hiç. Altı farklı hayvan karakterin her birinin hikâyesi gerçekten ayrı bir his bırakıyor içinde. Tala'nın kayıp nehri araması mesela, beni öyle sürükledi ki metro durağımı geçtim 😄 Her novella on kısa bölüme ayrılmış ve sonu sizin seçiminize göre şekilleniyor, …
