So I been playing Tower Rush Prize for maybe a week now?? And I have some feelings about it haha :) First the good things — the game is actually pretty fun!! You stack blocks against a bot and try to build higher then them, it sounds simple but when …

Tower Rush Prize is the kind of game that sounds like it should be forgettable — stack blocks, beat a bot, repeat — and yet I keep coming back to it during lunch breaks. Is that loyalty, or just habit? Probably the latter, but the distinction matters less than I …

honestly this pretty much mirrors my experience... the block stacking itself feels really good, like there's a satisfying little 'click' when you land one perfectly and I found myself chasing that feeling for a while. but yeah the bot never really gets harder and after a bit it stops feeling like a competition at all... more like a rhythm game where the 'opponent' is just background noise tbh
The skin unlock system is where I keep getting stuck on the value question. You earn skins by winning, which is fine in theory, but if the skins do nothing for gameplay, what exactly are you working toward. A cosmetic reward loop only holds up if the cosmetics are compelling enough to chase, and from what I have seen the block designs are decent but not remarkable. For a free app the trade-off is acceptable, but it does mean the long-term hook is pretty thin.
The win/loss counter point is interesting — I actually appreciate that it is there, but you are right that it stops meaning much once you realize the bot is not keeping pace with you. It is almost *ironic*: the counter is supposed to feel like a trophy case, but it just becomes evidence that the challenge plateaued. Did you try changing the block skins at all, or did you stick with the default?
I have been playing this sort of block-stacking game in various forms for years now, and Tower Rush Prize occupies a respectable middle ground. The split-screen competitive format is not new, but this implementation is tidier than most I have encountered; the construction site aesthetic is consistent and the controls do not fight you the way older mobile titles sometimes did. That said, I notice the bot does not adapt to the player's skill level, which is a design choice I find increasingly hard to justify in 2026. When I first started playing, the matches felt meaningfully contested; now, a few weeks in, I win the majority of rounds without much concentration, and the game offers no acknowledgment of that shift. The win and loss counter on the main menu is a nice touch for tracking progress, but raw tallies alone do not substitute for escalating challenge. It remains an enjoyable five-minute diversion, and the visual polish is genuinely commendable, but I do wish the developers had invested in at least one additional difficulty tier.
To be fair, the rhythm-game comparison is apt. Once you have internalized the timing, the bot stops being a threat and becomes more of a metronome. That said, I think there is something to be said for a game that is reliably winnable — some people genuinely just want to unwind without the frustration of a hard loss. The problem is that 'reliably winnable' and 'long-term engaging' are almost mutually exclusive, so Tower Rush Prize ends up serving a very specific kind of player and probably not holding anyone else for more than a week or two.
