so i've been using tower wildrush for a few weeks now and... tbh i have some feelings about it, both good and frustrating

the whole 'cairn' concept is genuinely charming. like the idea that missing a day just makes your tower lean instead of resetting — that one design choice alone kept me coming back when i would've otherwise just quit. the visual of watching that little stone stack tilt is oddly satisfying and also a bit anxiety-inducing in a fun way... it communicates consequence without being cruel about it, which is honestly rare for habit trackers

the ux is pretty clean overall. the main list screen is easy to read, the dark teal cards feel calm and not overwhelming, and placing a stone each day is like... one tap, done. no friction. i appreciate that it doesn't try to be more complicated than it needs to be

but here's where it gets a little frustrating for me — the stats feel underdeveloped. you get height, streak, and lean angle, which is cool, but i keep wanting to see something like a weekly overview or a simple calendar heatmap to actually visualize my patterns over time. there IS a calendar icon on the detail screen so maybe that feature exists somewhere and i just haven't found it... but if it does, it's not obvious enough

also the loading screen — the 'loading...' text in teal on that golden background is genuinely hard to read. small thing but it catches my eye every single time

honestly the core idea is strong and the no-punishment mechanic is something i think more apps should steal. i just wish the data visualization side matched the cleverness of the concept.
