GrumpyTapper: Power-ups spawn too rarely to matter.
oh no :( i just download this game yesterday and i think it is quite fun?? maybe i am just bad at games haha. but the slow motion power-up is so cool when you get it! does anyone know how to get it more often? i keep dying before it show up :)
GrumpyTapper: Die before I even see them coming.
tbh the hitbox thing is a real complaint and i felt it too at first, but honestly after like ten or fifteen runs i kind of got the rhythm of it and it stopped feeling so unfair? like the game does get faster pretty quickly which is rough in the early going but once you know the enemy patterns it clicks. the slow-mo power-up is genuinely satisfying when it triggers in a hairy moment 😊 i dunno, i think it rewards patience more than reflexes.
GrumpyTapper: hitbox on those cacti is HUGE.
Pixel-perfect hitboxes would fix this. Galaxy S23, Android 14. Enemies clip you from offscreen on faster levels. Reproducible. Dev needs to add a small buffer around the player sprite.
GrumpyTapper: Leaderboard shows two names max, what's the point of a TOP 5 if it's always empty...
In my experience, the hitbox issue GlitchHunter77 describes is real but inconsistent — it seems worse on higher-density screens, which suggests the collision radius isn't scaling properly with resolution. To be clear, I tested this on two different devices and the feel was noticeably different. That said, I think GrumpyTapper's frustration is partly a difficulty-curve problem rather than purely a technical one. The game front-loads challenge in a way that's fine for players who enjoy trial-and-error runs, but genuinely off-putting for anyone expecting a gentle warmup. The power-up frequency does improve slightly as you push into higher levels, though I'll grant it's not obvious enough early on to encourage new players to stick around. The leaderboard being sparse is a fair knock — local-only top-5 tables feel dated when even small indie games offer some form of community scoring. Overall it's a decent time-killer, but the first impression problem is real and probably costs it a lot of installs.

wait the leaderboard is only local?? i thought i was competing with other people from whole world lol!! that explain why i see same names every time :) maybe they will add online leaderboard in update? sorry if this is obvious question haha

Online leaderboard would need server backend. Small dev, unlikely soon. Local scores only, confirmed. Still useful for personal bests.

honestly the local leaderboard doesn't bother me that much — i've been using it as like a personal challenge thing, trying to beat my own time each session and it's weirdly motivating? the top score on mine is embarrassingly low still but it keeps me coming back haha. the graphics are genuinely cute too, the little character running and flailing around is pretty charming even if the game is trying to kill you 😊
