BOS DRIVER is a mobile application built for motorcycle couriers who receive delivery orders through the BOSJEK platform. The interface runs primarily in Indonesian and covers everything from live map navigation to a full order history. Inside, drivers will find a settings panel with earnings tracking, a wallet, payment account management, ratings, and an FAQ — all organized under a consistent light-blue navigation bar.

Inside the Interface

How the App Works

BOS DRIVER connects motorcycle couriers directly to orders placed by customers on the BOSJEK platform. The driver-side experience centers on a full-screen Google Maps view, where a bright-red SOS emergency button sits in the top-left corner — a notable safety feature for riders operating on the road. An offline status banner in matching red drops down when connectivity is lost, and a vehicle info card at the bottom of the map displays the assigned motorcycle details, including make, model, license plate, and vehicle color designation.

Order Management and Payment Flow

The order list screen presents a scrollable feed of deliveries, each showing the pickup location, delivery address, payment amount in Indonesian Rupiah, and a completion status. Individual order detail screens break down the full transaction: order ID, recipient name, pickup and drop-off addresses, payment method (Cash On Delivery is visible in the screenshots), and an order summary with subtotal and discount line items. The settings menu — labeled Pengaturan — offers access to earnings history, a wallet, payment account settings, notifications, and a ratings and reviews section.

Where the Interface Has Room to Grow

The app's primary weakness is its reliance on color alone to communicate order status. Red and green circular dots mark pickup and delivery states throughout the order list, but there are no accompanying text labels or shape-based alternatives — a real barrier for drivers with color vision deficiencies. Touch targets for numerical values and small status indicators fall below recommended minimums, and the map interface lacks alternative text descriptions for assistive technologies. Secondary text elements also show insufficient contrast in places. The positive side: main content uses readable font sizes, primary action buttons are large, and the navigation structure is consistent across screens.

The Red-and-Blue Visual Language

There's something visually immediate about BOS DRIVER's color scheme — the sharp contrast between the bright-red emergency button, the blue-accented order cards, and the clean white vehicle info panel creates a cockpit-like sense of readiness. It mirrors the high-contrast, signal-color logic you'd find in interface-driven games where status at a glance is everything: red means stop or danger, blue means action, green means go. The app leans into that same visual grammar, placing the most critical information — offline status, SOS access, assignment confirmation — exactly where the eye moves first.

BOS DRIVER Help

How do I receive delivery orders in BOS DRIVER?
BOS DRIVER automatically receives orders placed by customers through the BOSJEK application. Once you are online, incoming orders will be assigned to you and displayed in the Orders section of the app.
What is the SOS button on the map screen?
The SOS button is an emergency safety feature located in the top-left corner of the map view. It is displayed as a bright red circular button and is designed to be used in urgent or dangerous situations while on a delivery.
What does the Offline indicator mean?
When the app shows an 'Offline' banner on the map screen, it means you are currently not connected and will not receive new orders. Going back online will restore your availability to accept incoming deliveries.
Where can I check my earnings and wallet balance?
You can view your earnings and wallet balance through the Settings menu in the app. The menu includes separate sections for Earnings and Wallet, both accessible from your Profile & Application Settings screen.
What payment method is used for deliveries?
Deliveries in BOS DRIVER support Cash On Delivery as a payment method. Each completed order shows a full payment summary, including the subtotal and any applicable discounts, in the order detail view.
