okay so i had the exact same experience and honestly i was so confused for a solid five minutes... like the store page shows this cheerful fisherman with a big green fish and multipliers everywhere, and then you open it and it's talking about how many shades of color the human eye can perceive? i didn't hate the content itself tbh — some of the vision facts were kind of interesting — but it definitely felt like i stumbled into the wrong app entirely. the palming exercise thing was weirdly calming though, i'll give it that...
Yeah the disconnect between what you see on the store page and what's actually inside is pretty jarring — honestly I almost wonder if the dev just grabbed the wrong assets when they published. The actual app itself isn't bad though? Like, the breathing and eye relaxation exercises have a really clean little interface, the circular progress ring is satisfying to watch. It's a neat little wellness tool if you stumble into it with zero expectations.
tbh that's a fair point... if i'd searched for an eye relaxation app i might have actually liked it. the silent drum exercise was strange but kind of in a good way? i just wish they'd fix the store listing so people know what they're getting into.
Clean interface doesn't matter if you LIED to get me here. I wanted to tap fish, not stare at a circle for a minute...
Agreed on the frustration. Misleading store listings are a policy violation. That said — eye exercise timer ran fine on my device, no crashes. App itself is functional, just mislabeled.
Functional confirmed. Eye facts content loads fast. Relaxation timers work. Core issue is store metadata, not the app binary itself.
Pixel 7a, Android 13. Screenshots in Play Store are definitely not this app. Store metadata lists 'Big Bass Bonanza' internally, actual app is a vision education tool. Classic asset reuse from a different product. Dev should patch the listing.
Same issue. Screenshots are from a slot game, app content is vision/eye education. Metadata mismatch. Reported to Play Store. No response yet.
