Downloaded this hoping for something different. It IS different. Egyptian mythology judge simulator — actually a cool concept.

But the AI cases repeat FAST. Third session and I'm seeing the same witness names. Same charges almost word for word...

The verdict screen looks gorgeous. Five options including TRIAL BY GODS — nice touch. But GUILTY button is just red. No other difference. Colorblind users are going to miss that entirely.

MA'AT balance mechanic is clever. Wish it explained itself better at the start. Took me three cases to understand what Heart vs Feather even meant.

Could be great. Right now it's just okay.

Oh wow I just downloaded this yesterday and I love the theme so much!! Ancient Egypt judge is so creative :) I did not understand the MA'AT thing at first too, like what is Heart vs Feather?? I went to the Codex tab and it explained a little but maybe not enough for beginners. Also sorry my english is not perfect. Is there a way to replay old cases or they are gone after verdict??

Four times in eight cases... EXACTLY my experience. Dev needs to fix this YESTERDAY. Cool app, broken content engine...

I've been using Osiris Verdict for about three weeks now, which feels like enough time to have a real opinion on it. In my experience, the core loop — reading charges, examining evidence, cross-examining witnesses, then rendering a verdict — is genuinely well-designed. Each step feels purposeful rather than filler, and the parchment card UI with the Egyptian motifs is one of the more thoughtful visual designs I've seen in a mobile narrative game this year. That said, I do want to echo the concern about case variety. To be clear, I'm not saying the AI generation is bad — some of the moral dilemmas are genuinely interesting, and the reputation system (Justice, Wisdom, Fear, Divine Favor shifting after each verdict) gives your choices real weight. But the witness name pool is noticeably small. Senmut and Hatshepsut showed up in back-to-back cases for me, which breaks immersion significantly when you're supposed to be presiding over entirely different souls. The REDEMPTION and EXILE verdict options are underused in my view — the post-verdict consequence text doesn't differentiate them enough from a simple GUILTY outcome. I'd love to see those paths carry more distinct narrative weight. In summary: Osiris Verdict has a genuinely compelling foundation, but it needs a larger content pool and more differentiated verdict outcomes to justify long-term play.

Agreed on witness names. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17.4. Senmut appeared four times in eight cases. Pool is too small. Reputation system works though. No crashes here.

Wow you explained it so well!! The reputation thing is really cool yes, I got +2 Justice after my first innocent verdict and felt so proud haha :) What does Divine Favor actually do though? I have not seen it change anything yet...

priya_downloads

Honestly that's a fair question and I don't have a fully satisfying answer. From what I can tell, Divine Favor seems to influence the TRIAL BY GODS verdict option — cases where it's high appear to unlock slightly different consequence text. But to be clear, the app doesn't explain this anywhere I could find, which is a real gap. The Codex tab has lore but not mechanics documentation. That's a design oversight worth flagging to the developer.

Archive tab is useful. Past verdicts saved with full consequence text. Good for tracking your reputation arc across cases. That part works well.

Oh I did not even open Archive yet!! Going to check it now :) Thank you for the tip, this thread is so helpful for a new player like me.

Hej!

Jeśli lubisz klimatyczne gry narracyjne z nutą filozofii, to polecam zajrzeć! Pozdrawiam wszystkich i życzę sprawiedliwych wyroków ❤️

Discoverability zerowa to jeszcze łagodnie powiedziane. Support też zerowy. Napisałem z pytaniem o postęp — cisza. ŻADNEJ odpowiedzi.

Support przez formularz kontaktowy czy in-app? Bo jeśli in-app to podejrzewam, że requesty lecą do jakiegoś backendu bez kolejkowania i po prostu giną. Sprawdzałeś czy w ogóle dostałeś jakiekolwiek potwierdzenie wysłania?
