the combo system is probably my favourite part — catching three in a row without a miss and then getting that double catch feels genuinely satisfying. the multiplier tokens popping up mid-round add a nice layer of decision-making too, because sometimes you sacrifice a good fish timing to grab a x7 and it's like... was that worth it? i'm still figuring that out honestly.
where it loses me a bit is the level progression. it unlocks as you play, which is fine, but it doesn't feel like there's a huge difference between levels in terms of challenge or variety. i was hoping each level would throw something new at me... maybe faster fish patterns or different layouts, but it feels fairly samey after a while.
visuals are lovely though, really bright and cheerful without being overwhelming. the fisherman character is cute tbh. overall a solid little arcade game, just wish the progression had a bit more depth to it.
